The Skip Cline Society is named in honor of Harry Sykes “Skip” Cline Jr., after his untimely death. To his friends, Skip embodied the ideals of a young leader — charisma, enthusiasm and energy. He was raised close to Morton Plant Hospital, in a family long devoted to charitable ideals. Since 2004, Skip Cline Society members have provided a legacy of young leadership and raised more than $340,000 in support of the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease, including the following projects:
Members may join the Skip Cline Society with an annual gift to the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation. Your donation may also be made through a monthly credit card or checking account deduction, if preferred. Membership contributions are 100% tax-deductible and help to support the yearly grants provided to the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease through the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation.
For nearly 40 years, Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation has provided philanthropic support to the not-for-profit hospitals of Morton Plant Mease Health Care, including Morton Plant, Clearwater; Mease Dunedin; Mease Countryside, Safety Harbor and Morton Plant North Bay, New Port Richey. The close connection between the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease and their neighbors reveal a unique spirit of giving – a relationship characterized by people caring for the hospitals that care for them.
