For nearly 40 years, Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation has provided philanthropic support to the not-for-profit hospitals of Morton Plant Mease Health Care, including Morton Plant, Clearwater; Mease Dunedin; Mease Countryside, Safety Harbor and Morton Plant North Bay, New Port Richey. The close connection between the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease and their neighbors reveal a unique spirit of giving – a relationship characterized by people caring for the hospitals that care for them.

  • Morton Plant Hospital +

    Founded in 1916, Morton Plant Hospital was the first hospital built in northern Pinellas County. Today, our 687-bed facility provides award-winning care delivered by board-certified physicians and highly trained nurses in more than 50 specialty areas. Our longstanding commitment to serving the health care needs of our community continues with our recently commenced expansion efforts that will include a new patient tower, an additional main entrance, expanded Emergency Room and the relocations of surgery, women’s care and orthopedics, to better meet the needs of the future.     For more than 25 years, Mease Countryside has been raising the standard of care for patients of all ages. Designated as one of Thomson Reuters 100 Top U.S. Hospitals, our award-winning facility features multiple Centers of Excellence, including women and children’s services, heart, cancer, neurosciences and orthopedics. In addition, we are in our first phase of a multi-year campus development that begins with a new central utilities plant that brings all hospital facility support systems into one building.   • Mease Dunedin Hospital +

    Located in the heart of Dunedin for more than 75 years, Mease Dunedin Hospital offers state-of-the-art health care right in your community. The 143-bed facility recently underwent a $19 million renovation and expansion, including a new Intensive Care Unit that provides functionality, accessibility and peace of mind for patients, visitors and staff. Every patient room has been upgraded and 75 percent of the rooms are private. In addition, we are renovating a unit to relocate a part of inpatient behavioral health services to provide better access in Pinellas County by this fall. Read More
  • Morton Plant North Bay Hospital +

    Established in 1965, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is a 154-bed facility committed to improving the health of everyone it serves. As West Pasco County’s only not-for-profit community hospital, more than $100 million has been invested back into the hospital to expand and develop its programs, services and technologies since 1999. The hospital’s recent expansion included the four-story Starkey Medical Tower featuring all private patient rooms, new Intensive Care Unit, new Surgery Center, expanded Emergency Room and a new Medical Arts Building.
